HORSE RIDING - Penultimate round of 2016 Pancyprian Dressage Cup.

Ο τρίτος γύρος υπερπήδησης εμποδίων θα γίνει στις 5 μέχρι 6 Νοεμβρίου από τις 9ΑΜ μέχρι 2ΡΜ στον Ιππικό Όμιλο Λυθροδόντα - P. Tsaktiris στην Λευκωσία.

Ολοκληρώθηκε ο δεύτερός γύρος Υπερπήδησης Εμποδίων στον Ιππικό Όμιλο Κουρείου. Ο Ιππικός Όμιλος Λυθροδόντα έλαβε μέρος και είχε τα έξης αποτελέσματα :

Pancyprian Games (Mark II) are upon us. It looks like it'll be a bit of a soggy weekend, but soldier on we shall! Dressage Games will start at 09:00 this morning, with CYEF Children. 
Slightly different format this time, with prizegiving ceremony taking place after each class, and rosettes, medals and cups aplenty to give away - so good luck to all!

HORSE RIDING - FEI World Jumping Challenge.

FEI World Jumping Challenge will take place from Friday, 4th December 2015 to Sunday, 6th December 2015. Horses and riders will be competing in three competitions, each consisting of two rounds.
Veterinary inspection will take place before the first round of the first competition on Friday, 4th December 2015.

HORSE RIDING - Round 3 of Cyprus Cup in Dressage and Jumping.

Round 3 of Cyprus Cup in Dressage and Jumping was done and dusted this weekend - great numbers on both days!

Dressage ruled on Saturday, with over 50 combinations battling for points under the watchful eye of Mr Peter Hansaghy (HUN). It was great to see the improvement in scores across the board - gone are the days when 60% meant a guaranteed victory!

Sunday was devoted to jumping - and boy, did the jumpers come out! Miss Irene Ierides (CYP) and Miss Tania Burzic (CYP) judged over record numbers in Category D (18 and under), battle of the boys in Category A and a fun Accumulator class to close the show.

As always, this past weekend would not have been possible without our wonderful volunteers and officials, trainers and competitors, and our gracious hosts, Ιππικός Όμιλος Λυθροδόντα - P.Tsaktiris

Winners and runners-up ready for presentation ceremony for the 2015 FEI World Dressage Challenge

Team Cyprus does it again - top team of Zone 4 second year running in the FEI World Dressage Challenge. Way to go girls! 
But wait, there's more!
Daria Strygina on Enormous Pleasure topped Medium Class with room to spare. 
Caroline Scambler on Butterfly S and Daria Strygina on Enormous Pleasure are top two combinations in Elementary Class Seniors, with Christina Efthymiou on Ultrasox taking fourth spot and Caroline Scambler on Defender in fifth.
Lilly Milan was the pony to beat in Preliminary Class Juniors - Imogen Evans and Anastasia Chernyshova take first and second place respectively; Marina Stasi on Mrs Maggie D and Leah Weston on Rocket Robin were in hot pursuit, finishing fifth and sixth respectively.
Christina Efthymiou on Ultrasox finished the clean sweep by winning Preliminary Class Seniors, followed by Wendy Bush on Kodein in fourth place.

HORSE RIDING - Round 2 of Cyprus Cup in Jumping.

Round 2 of Cyprus Cup in Jumping took place on the 6/11/15, at 
Ιππικός Όμιλος Λυθροδόντα - P.Tsaktiris, by now a familiar venue. 
Ground Jury comprised judges Irene Ierides and Marios Kalapodas, with Chris Jopling both designing and building the courses, and Marios Myrianthousis in charge of timing. Team from George's Ranch lent a helping hand with some sponsored fences - from Cap St. George, George's Ranch, Kalliopi Diving and Korantina Homes. 
Six classes were jumped in blazing sunshine ("too much sunshine - it's supposed to be winter" was our course designer's comment), and, judging by complete lack of evidence till now, the after-party must have been great fun!
After a relatively slow start of equitation, numbers of competitors swelled and the battle for placings in Category D (18 and under) was fierce, with eight clear rounds.
Jay Cummisky and Shy Boy (nothing shy about that boy yesterday!) posted two clear rounds, and Erik Gregoriou and Oneida BZ had a firm grasp on final two classes. There were few thrills and spills during the day, but all in all, it was a great day in sunshine.

ΤΑ ΤΕΛΙΚΑ ΑΠΟΤΕΛΕΣΜΑΤΑ ΤΟΥ FEI DRESSAGE CHALLENGE ΜΕΤΑ ΑΠΟ ΚΥΠΡΟ ΚΑΙ HAE

Ξανά στον Ιππικό Όμιλο Λαπάτσα στην Κύπρο πραγματοποιήθηκε το Σάββατο, 14 Δεκεμβρίου ο διεθνής αγώνας ιππικής δεξιοτεχνίας, FEI Dressage Challenge.

22 ιππείς πήραν μέρος στον αγώνα της Ζώνης 4, που μαζί με τις Ελλάδα και Κύπρο συμμετέχουν ακόμη ιππείς από τη Μάλτα, την Τουρκία και τα Ηνωμένα Αραβικά Εμιράτα.  Κριτές των αγώνων ήταν οι Αυστραική Victoire Mandl και ο Γερμανός, Peter Engel, που έφυγαν από την Ελλάδα και πήγαν αμέωσς στην Κύπρο.

Preliminary Εφήβων: Χριστίνα Ευθυμίου - Cowboy -65.09 %

Στο ομαδικό αγώνισμα της Κύπρου μετρούν οι αμαζόνες, Ελένη Χριστοφίδη, Χριστίνα Ευθυμίου, Caroline Scambler και Elizabeth Ψηλού.

Η Διεθνής Ομοσπονδία Ιππασίας ανακοίνωσε τα (χθες) τα τελικά αποτελέσματα της ζώνης 4 μετά τους αγώνες σε Μάλτα, Τουρκία, Ελλάδα, Κύπρο και ΗΑΕ.

Final Round of the Cyprus Inter Club Championship (CICC) 2013

Sunday, 19^th May 2013 saw the culmination of the Cyprus Inter Club Championship 2012 – 2013 where equestrian clubs from all over the island competed in dressage and show jumping classes. Team Amathus (Amathus Park Riding Club, Parekklesia) retained the CICC Team Championship Cup for another year and the runners up were Amargeti Equestrian Club. Team Amathus also scooped all the individual Championships with Katia Melas riding Zodiak winning the Dressage and Merle Mestern (MoJo) the runner-up and the Show Jumping Championship was won by Janel Kiamil riding BabyLou with Arina Malykh (Diego) the runner up. A good day was had by all!!
