Join us then for the shooting competition at the Cyprus Russian Festival!

Program:
10 June 4 pm – 9 pm
11 June 4 pm – 8.30 pm
All winners will be announced at 8.30 on 11 June. Pick up your prizes at 9.30 pm.

This is a “shooting in motion” sports competition. It includes shooting with pistols at short range while moving across the specially prepared terrain. You shoot using pneumatic guns at metal targets that clearly demonstrate that you hit the target.

Our tournament will include 2 categories of participants:
1. boys and girls up to 16 years of age
2. ladies and gentlemen from 16 y.o and older
We will offer valuable prizes and many gift vouchers for the winner in each category for the 1-3 places!

Safety rules:
We pay particular attention to safety during the sports shooting competition. Before the start of the tournament we will brief all the participants in order to explain all the techniques for the safe handling of guns and the rules & conditions of the competition.
Participants, who broke the safety rules will be disqualified.

Competition rules:
All participants must be registered in order to take part in the competition.
Every 30 minutes we will be providing briefing on the safety rules and the rules of the competition to a group of 10 participants. After that, they sign the acknowledgment of the rules and move on to the shooting range:
- all the participants will have the chance to test the guns and fire blanks,
- the participants will be allowed 5 minutes to fire 5 test shots at the cardboard target,
- following that, each participant will have 10 minutes to complete the shooting exercise from behind the cover, firing at metal targets at a close range of 5-8 meters.

The winner will be chosen based on the majority of the targets hit within minimum amount of time.

The organisers will provide guns and equipment to the participants. Participation is 15 EUR per person. Re-entry is 10 EUR.
