HORSE RIDING - Round 2 of Cyprus Cup in Jumping.

Round 2 of Cyprus Cup in Jumping took place on the 6/11/15, at 
Ιππικός Όμιλος Λυθροδόντα - P.Tsaktiris, by now a familiar venue. 
Ground Jury comprised judges Irene Ierides and Marios Kalapodas, with Chris Jopling both designing and building the courses, and Marios Myrianthousis in charge of timing. Team from George's Ranch lent a helping hand with some sponsored fences - from Cap St. George, George's Ranch, Kalliopi Diving and Korantina Homes. 
Six classes were jumped in blazing sunshine ("too much sunshine - it's supposed to be winter" was our course designer's comment), and, judging by complete lack of evidence till now, the after-party must have been great fun!
After a relatively slow start of equitation, numbers of competitors swelled and the battle for placings in Category D (18 and under) was fierce, with eight clear rounds.
Jay Cummisky and Shy Boy (nothing shy about that boy yesterday!) posted two clear rounds, and Erik Gregoriou and Oneida BZ had a firm grasp on final two classes. There were few thrills and spills during the day, but all in all, it was a great day in sunshine.
